Keep the recommendations you meant to watch
Your list is stored in the browser where you created it. It is not an account that automatically appears on another phone. A text backup gives you a way to carry those choices with you before replacing a device, changing browsers or clearing website data.
- Open Watchlist in the browser that holds your saved titles.
- Choose Create backup and copy all the text from the List backup box.
- Keep that text in a private note or document.
- In the other browser, open MoviesToWatch Watchlist, paste the text into Restore backup and choose Merge backup.
What merging does
Recognized titles are added without creating duplicate saved entries. Supported series checkpoints are added when a checkpoint is not already present. Existing checkpoints in the destination browser are kept. Unknown titles and invalid episode numbers can be skipped rather than turned into broken cards.
What the backup does not contain
It does not copy films, login details, payment data, browsing history or a provider’s playback progress. The tool accepts a MoviesToWatch backup, not another brand’s exported list. Keep the complete text unchanged: removing its punctuation can make it unreadable. After importing, open a saved series to confirm the checkpoint you want.
